As an avid foodie, Andrie wanted to ensure her twins grew up to love and explore foods and flavours. Armed with lots of enthusiasm but no time to create a masterpiece each day, a shortcut was needed. And just like that, her idea for my happy plate became a reality!
Gender and race-neutral, it is designed and manufactured in Cape Town, South Africa. Made from catering grade vitrified ceramic the plate is 100% food safe and chip resistant. It is easy to clean as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
The plate is designed to make mealtimes fun and encourage young eaters to try new foods and flavours. It reduces anxiety at the table, encourages conversation and creativity. Go ahead, play with your food!
